Vizio is a renowned name when it comes to High Definition TVs and living up to their name, the association from Irvine has been thinking of making their vision of a first Wi-Fi HDTV a reality to the great delight of the users worldwide. The new version of the Vizio TVs is set for release by the last quarter of 2009.

The first Wi-Fi HDTV will have a QWERTY remote and access to Yahoo widgets. The 55 inch LED backlit LCD will also feature a USB jack called Vudu that would ensure that you can play and view music and images in all video formats from a connected drive. The remote has a QWERTY keyboard that can be slid out and has Bluetooth capabilities. The Wi-Fi HDTV will also have the intelligent dimming technology that turn off a LCD and enlarges blacks.

The HDTV will have internet connectivity that is definitely going to woo the users. The Wi-Fi HDTV will also give you the freedom to do away with the router as it has a Wi-Fi 802.11n modems to help you bond wirelessly. The usage of Yahoo widgets would mean that users can set up an interactive environment for themselves.

In a time where many companies have decided to hold back the Yahoo widget channel, the HDTV from Vizio would also have the Adobe supports. Can Yahoo Save You Cash?

Daily deals is simple enough: deals appear on the website for a certain amount of time, usually 24 hours. Everything from Ottomans to watches are up for grabs. Most of the deals are powered through third parties, like Woot, TechBargains, and others.

Coupons and Weekly Ads, however, are aggregators of deals. They scour places like CouponMountain, Dealnews, ESticker, HSN, and Amazon for the most recent deals. You can save them or comment on them as well. Weekly Ads lets you print out the classic coupon pages and books you get in the mail, which actually becomes useful when you go to buy groceries. There are also little additions like a widget for finding cheap gas near your location, contests, and video tips on saving cash (though I havent’ seem those pop up yet).

Overall, the new Yahoo Deals is a coupon and savings aggregator, and a good one at that. Quickly search for your store or product and you’ll probably find something. Being able to print out grocery coupons will quickly add up to big savings. And its partnerships gives it exclusive discounts others don’t have. Saving money is still sexy, and Yahoo Deals will fulfill that need if you have to penny pinch.

Sony PS3 Slim Shipping Today

Sony PS3 Slim officially will be shipping today one week earlier from it’s initially slated September 1st release. Amazon updated PS3 Slim listing to be shipping as early as tomorrow which accordingly reflected to GameStop listing.

Seemingly this is a major surprise for those willingly gamers who pre-ordered the console, but such intriguing Sony’s decision is shipping the console earlier than announced. Most likely what comes on my mind is Microsoft’s Xbox 360 price-cut which is expected to slash price of Xbox 360 Elite to $299.99. This could be Sony’s precaution to lure buyers before Xbox comes into price competition.

So far, the new Sony PS3 Slim clearly has an edge with Xbox, with cheaper price, features and slim design, plus the hype that its ‘new’. Now I don’t hear about Wii?
